  • Gumbo Limbo Environmental Complex - Named after one of the dominant tree species in the hammock, the Gumbo Limbo Environmental Complex is designed to provide environmental education for the community through classes, seminars, workshops, field trips and research.
  • The American Orchid Society - Experience a 3½-acre orchid garden featuring countless species of native and exotic flora. Stroll the native plant boardwalk, orchid jungle garden, or pause in the Vaughn meditation garden. The greenhouses feature displays of orchids. Our enchanting Mediterranean-style building offers displays of orchids, art exhibits, and the Orchid Emporium gift shop.
  • Old School Square Cultural Arts Center - Old School Square's Mission is to be the community's gathering place, enriching the lives of all people by offering diverse experiences in the visual and performing arts, education and entertainment while preserving our National Historic Site.
  • The International Museum of Cartoon Art - Primarily, the Museum exists to collect, preserve and display the world's most popular art form.   • Spanish River Park - About 95 acres, more than a half-mile of beach with lifeguards. Includes covered shelters and boat docks, a 1,680-foot nature trail and large playground area.
  • Florida Atlantic University Art Galleries - The University Galleries at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton present exhibitions of contemporary art, other humanities disciplines and related programs designed to stimulate interpretation thought, discussion, and other responses to the visual arts.
  • Red Reef Park - The "reefs" here are just 10 feet from the shore line, allowing encounters with puffer fish, sea robins, trigger fish and a wide variety of sea snails. Red Reef Park has almost everything u need for a day out : picnic tables, pavilions grills and a playground. A lifeguard is on duty from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and there are two changing facilities/restrooms. It is also adjacent to a golf course.
  • Boca Raton Municipal Golf Course - Two golf courses including an 18 hole, par 72 course and a nine hole, par 30 executive course. Here you will find a 10,000 square foot clubhouse, golf shop, driving range, and putting green on site.
  • South Inlet Park - Known for its beautiful vistas and many couples find its the perfect place to be married. The 1.10 acre park has 850 feet of beach, picnic areas with grills, a volleyball area, covered pavilions and a pier for strolling or fishing. Reservations are required for the covered pavilion and picnic area.
